We all have favourite websites that we bookmark within our browsers as favorites so that we can find them again, but these are stored on a specific machine meaning that when we use another computer, perhaps at work or in an Internet Cafe, we can’t access them. In addition our bookmarks are private and can’t be shared by our colleagues, friends and others with the same interests.

Social Networking sites like Facebook and Digg (sometimes called bookmarking or sharing websites) let you “tag” favourite websites or pages within websites so you can access them from any computer you are using. You can also share them with friends and other people with similar interests, thus spreading the word about a great article or review you have found!

Social Networking sites are all free to use, so it’s just up to you to decide which site suits you best and then register with them.

So, if you find something that you like on The Hot Aisle and want to come back to it at a later date, or share it with someone, then simply click the tag and add it to your list!
