Today my friend and colleague Peter Hopton gave me the neatest piece of software I have seen in a long time. Software that knows if you are sitting in front of your computer or not, and if you are not shuts down the display to save energy. As soon as you sit down again, the screen switches back on instantly.
The software is PecoBoo from VeryPC, works on Windows Vista and XP and can be downloaded from pecoboo.co.uk.
